Our online course 'CV's - Byte Size' will offer you an opportunity to learn more about CV's and their purpose when applying for jobs. You will learn how to create and adapt your CV to make the best first impression and to match the jobs you are applying for.
There are no entry requirements for this non-accredited course.
Who is this course for?
The course is aimed at adults (19+) who are:
-Looking for their first job
-Been out of work for a while and are now ready to get back into work
-Wanting to change their job but need to refresh their job finding skills
When will I attend?
This course is flexible, meaning you can log on and complete your learning when it suits you. Your start and end date will be agreed between you and your tutor. The course should take a total of 3 hours to complete.
What can I expect to learn?
You will gain everything you need to search creatively for job opportunities
By the end of the course you will be able to:
-Define what a CV is
-List what should and shouldn't be on a CV
-Define different types of CV's
-Design and adapt your own CV
-Have a clear action plan of where to progress to next
